Editor's Message

Gulf journal of Dermatology and Venereology has productively completed 20 years of journal publication ever since its inception in 1994, serving the medical certified professionals all over the world, and mainly those in the Gulf region, as a helpful scientific journal. Launching with this issue, it is my honor and privilege to become the Editor of this prestigious Journal.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the association that has been a valued friend to dermatologists and an incredible resource for our patients. We circulate a wide range of journals and brochures that we can utilize to educate patients regarding the risks and benefits of numerous of the systemic treatments we recommend.

Gulf journal of Dermatology and Venereology has seen increasing development in its style, set-up and multiplicity in contents through the past years and it will be the combined attempt of the current Editorial Board to include more colors to its wings.

While following the paths of our predecessors, we are delighted to realize the projected targets of our publications is to make our journal’s extra informative, interesting and valuable to all our readers throughout the editions to come.  While expressing our gratitude to all our partners in its expansion, we graciously request your valuable contributions and continued support to further take this journal to new heights with lots of valuable information.
